The First Session

On June 17, 2013, as an important part of the National Low Carbon Day activities, the “First Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum” grandly opened in Shenzhen International Low Carbon City. With the theme of “Low Carbon Development - Exploring the Road of New Urbanization”, the forum brought together experts in low carbon industry and low carbon city construction from more than 10 countries to exchange the latest progress in the field of low carbon at home and abroad, in order to seek a new mechanism of low carbon development and explore the new road of low carbon development in the context of new urbanization.

The Second Session

On the morning of June 10, 2014, the 2nd Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum was held as scheduled with the theme of “Low Carbon Development - The Road to Quality Urbanization”. The forum consisted of four parts, including the main forum, four sub-forums, nine thematic seminars and nine thematic activities. Through the five panels, including “Macro Dialogue” and “Urban Dialogue”, the forum discussed how to promote urban quality through low carbon economy and life activities, such as low-carbon industries, low-carbon planning, low-carbon buildings, low-carbon transportation, etc.

The Third Session

On the morning of June 17, 2015, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum was held in Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Convention and Exhibition Center.

The Forth Session

On the morning of June 17, 2016, the 4th Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum opened. Nearly 2,000 government officials, low carbon leaders, experts and scholars from more than 40 countries and regions had in-depth discussions around the theme of “Green-Innovation: the New Power of Urban Transformation and Development”, which set up a communication platform for the development of green transformation of the city, and contributed to promote international cooperation in addressing climate change.

The Fifth Session

On September 7, 2017, the Fifth Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum was held in Shenzhen, with the theme of “Jointly Shoulder the Responsibility for Global Climate Change and Promote Green Low Carbon Development”.

The Sixth Session

6月17日，“首届深圳国际低碳城论坛”在深圳On September 26, the 6th Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum, with the theme of “Insisting on the Road of Sustainable Innovation and Pursuing High-Quality Green Development”, kicked off at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 1,000 guests from around the world, including government officials, renowned experts and scholars, representatives of international organizations, famous enterprises and media organizations, gathered to discuss in depth the topics of transforming the mode of development, adjusting the economic structure and developing green economy.
