About the forum

The Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum was established in June 2013 and has been successfully held for ten sessions under the guidance of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. After years of accumulation, the forum has grown into an international forum with high visibility and influence in the global green and low-carbon field. It has become an international platform for disseminating the concept of green development, showcasing the determination and effectiveness of national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality through Shenzhen, and promoting practical cooperation among all parties.


The Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum fully utilized the agglomeration effect of green and low-carbon industries, held the Blue Sky Award in the field of global sustainable development, and solicited and selected approximately 640 green and low-carbon technologies with investment value for the global market; The international green and low-carbon technology project roadshow and trade fair have brought new technological paths for Shenzhen's green and low-carbon technology innovation and industrial transformation and development, promoting practical cooperation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements. Through the forum, extensive international cooperation relationships have been established, and Shenzhen has signed cooperation agreements with cities such as Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Amsterdam, and Los Angeles in the United States; Organize South South cooperation training courses, theme days in countries such as the Netherlands, France, and Italy, establish international communication channels, and share excellent cases from domestic and foreign cities.
