2024 Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum Calls for Urban Green and Low Carbon Scenario Demonstration Bases
During the period of 2022-2023, the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission conducted an activity to select urban green and low carbon scenario demonstration bases. Through voluntary applications, material reviews, and expert evaluations, a total of 20 applicants were selected as demonstration bases. They are:
In Order to Call for New Batch of Demonstration Bases for 2024 to Continue Promoting the Demonstration Effect, Spreading Green Low-Carbon Concepts, and Sharing Green Low-Carbon Development Experiences, We Welcome the Application of Demonstration Bases and the Details Are as Follows:
I. Scope of Collection
We are soliciting annual activity plans for urban green low-carbon scenario demonstration bases with significant economic, social, and ecological benefits and prominent demonstration effects in the fields of clean energy, industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction, green transportation, green buildings, and low-carbon technologies.
II. Application Requirements
(A) In principle, the applying units should meet the following basic conditions:
1. The applicant must be a legally registered entity in Shenzhen (including Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone) with independent legal status, such as enterprises, public institutions, social organizations, and private non-enterprises committed to transitioning to low-carbon green development, and must have a certain reputation and influence in their respective fields.
2. The applicant must not have violated national, provincial, or municipal joint disciplinary policies and systems and must not be listed as a subject of joint disciplinary action for dishonesty.
3. The applicant must provide basic venues, facilities, equipment, financial guarantees, and related management systems for carrying out green low-carbon activities, and must be able to arrange dedicated staff to be responsible for activities related to the scenario demonstration base.
(B) In principle, the application plan should include no fewer than 8 activities in total, in formats including but not limited to professional seminars, investment roadshows, industrial cooperation, and popular science promotion.
1. Professional Seminars:
- Invite government management departments, research institutions, well-known enterprises, industry organizations, associations, and experts in the field to share and discuss policies, industry development, and the latest research results in the fields of energy, industry, transportation, and buildings.
2. Project Roadshows:
- Focus on the development of green low-carbon industries such as energy conservation, environmental protection, clean technology, and clean energy. Invite venture capital institutions, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, industry experts, etc., to promote effective connections between technology, products, projects, services, and capital, and to advance the commercialization, industrialization, and demonstration application of green low-carbon innovative technologies.
3. Industrial Cooperation:
- Promote the signing of strategic cooperation agreements among enterprises, between enterprises and the government, and between enterprises and universities in the fields of energy, industry, transportation, buildings, and carbon trading. Strengthen collaboration and promote industrial cooperation and exchange.
4. Popular Science Promotion:
- Educate the general public about green low-carbon concepts through lectures, exhibitions, interactive games, and other methods.
