The Ninth Session

From December 16 to 18, 2021, the 2021 Carbon Peak and Neutrality Forum and the 9th Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum was held in Shenzhen. This low-carbon event with the theme of “Carbon Road China: Green Innovation Leading, Global Actions” attracted guests from 14 foreign countries, including the United States, Russia, Canada, and two regions, Hong Kong and Macao, etc., and nearly 120 domestic and international renowned experts, scholars and entrepreneurs delivered brilliant speeches at the forum.

The ceremony for the release of major projects and special reports released five major projects, including “Low Carbon Planet” Mini Program, Futian District Dual Carbon Cloud Brain, Hydrogen Demonstration in the Western Port Area, Yantian International Container Terminal Shore-based Vessel Power Supply System (Phase V Project), and Xiaomeisha Internet Intelligent Energy Project, etc., and also released 5 special reports, including the “Shenzhen Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan (2021-2025)”, “Shenzhen ‘Zero Carbon Park’ Construction Guidelines”, “Creating a City of Peak Carbon Emissions, Standard Air Quality and High Quality Economic Growth: Action Guidelines and Shenzhen Experience”, “Measuring the Value of China’s Two Mountains from 2000 to 2020 Based on the Ecological Meta”, “Implementation Guidelines for Carbon Emission Whole-process Management of Government-invested Construction Projects in Nanshan District”.

On the evening of December 18, the European Roadshow was held online, where eight green and low-carbon projects from the UK, the US, Norway, Sweden and other countries conducted roadshows in real time and interacted with online guests.
