Located at the northernmost end of the center of Shenzhen, the Lianhua Hill Park covers an area of 194 hectares, is built with the big coconut-style grassland mainly with palmae plants, the artificial lake with clean water and graceful environment and the kite square mainly with large area of grassland and microtopography, and is planted with nearly ten thousand flame trees. In the center of the hilltop square located at the main peak of the Park stands the Bronze Statue of General Secretary Deng Xiaoping, where people can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the city center.                            

Established in 1996, Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park is one of six pilot parks under the development strategy of the Ministry of Science and Technology for “building the world-class science and technology parks”. Also, as the national base for export of high-tech products, the open park of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, the advanced national high-tech industrial development zone and the software industry base of China Torch Program, the Park has been devoted to promote scientific and technological innovation.                            

The University Town of Shenzhen is China’s only cluster of graduate schools, approved by the Ministry of Education, jointly held by the local government in alliance with famous universities and focusing on the cultivation of full-time graduates. Currently, the Shenzhen Graduate Schools of Tsinghua University, Peking University and Harbin Institute of Technology and some first-rate universities including CAS Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Southern University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen University (Xili Campus) have settled here.                            

The Building Research Building is the office building for scientific research of Shenzhen Institute of Building Research Co., Ltd. Aimed to explore the model of green buildings with low cost and soft technology at the core and following the goal of maximally saving and efficiently utilizing resources, protecting environment and reducing pollution within the life cycle of the Building, it meets the requirements of the Chinese national three-star standards for green building evaluation and the US gold grade of LEED through its total cost of about RMB4000/m2.                            

Located at the Dapeng Bay in Yantian District, Shenzhen, Shenzhen Vanke Center follows the design concept of “floating horizon and lying skyscraper” and stretches 403 meters, close to the height of the Empire State Building in New York, and consists of Vanke Headquarters, International Conference Center and star-grade hotel. In 2010, the Center obtained the LEED Platinum certification and was China’s first office building project that obtained such certification.                            

Located at the southwest coast of Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Bay Park stretches from Futian Mangrove Forest Nature Reserve for Birds in the east to the west side of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cross-Sea Bridge in the west, goes adjacent to Binhai Avenue in the north, and faces the Shenzhen Bay in the south and the Mai Po Nature Reserve across the sea. Stretching about 9.6 kilometers along the coast and covering an area of about 108 hectares, Shenzhen Bay Park is the only dense seaside relaxation belt in Shenzhen.
